Women's Federation Holds an Important Meeting in Düsseldorf


On July 25, 2026, in the city of Düsseldorf, Germany, and under the supervision of Shirin Zaki, President of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation, an important meeting was held with German women.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Ismail Kamil, President of the Kurdistan Communities Confederation; Qaraman Osman, Head of the Shifa Barzani Office; Harman Ahmed, Head of Media for the Kurdistan Communities Confederation; Yad Amin, President of the Youth Federation; and the German Committee of the Women's Federation.

During the gathering, a warm welcome was extended to all participants and esteemed guests, which included a significant number of active women, pioneers, civil figures, and representatives of various organizations.

Initially, Dr. Ismail Kamil delivered a speech in which he emphasized the strategic importance of the Women's Federation and reaffirmed the full readiness of the Kurdistan Communities Confederation to support and coordinate with the Women's Federation. He also pointed out that the Women's Federation was the first international federation to be registered and has successfully managed to conduct its work.

Subsequently, Qaraman Osman, Harman Ahmed, and Yad Amin introduced themselves to the attendees, and each presented their perspectives and views.
Shirin Zaki delivered a speech to the participating women, shedding light on the core agenda and objectives of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, all attendees introduced themselves and presented their remarks and suggestions to improve the federation's work. At the same time, a detailed discussion took place regarding practical procedures for activating and strengthening the position of women in the civil and social arena. The meeting concluded with a series of notable achievements and as an effective step toward strengthening organizational relations in Germany.
