On May 1, 2026, in the city of Düsseldorf, Germany, the Conference of the Federation of Kurdistan Diaspora Women was successfully held, with the participation of a significant number of members, guests, organizations, and prominent figures.

The conference was attended by representatives of various political and social entities, distinguished guests, and notable personalities. Among them were representatives from the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Syria, the Rûnak Association, and the Federation of Kurdistan Communities in the Diaspora.

The program commenced with a warm welcome to all participants and guests by the event hosts, Ms. Xende and Ms. Leylan Mela. This was followed by the national anthem "Ey Reqîb" and a minute of silence to honor the souls of the martyrs. The hosts highlighted the significance of this conference in strengthening the role of Kurdish women in the diaspora.

 Keynotes and Speeches
At the beginning of the program, Ms. Shîrîn Zekî, President of the Federation of Kurdistan Diaspora Women, delivered a speech highlighting the vital role of women in social and political struggles. She emphasized the necessity of continued joint efforts and unity, reviewing the activities and achievements of the federation so far. She expressed special gratitude to the honorable Kak Shîfa Barzanî for his continuous and immense support. She also noted the importance of acknowledging the Confederation of Kurdistan Diaspora, which plays a critical role globally in amplifying the voice of our people and connecting the homeland across borders, stating that their continuous efforts remain a source of respect and pride.

In another part of the program, members of the General Executive Board of the Women's Federation—Ms. Xûnaf Haco, Ms. Karîna Wezîrê, and Ms. Necla Çamlîbel—delivered their speeches, expressing their full support for women and their fundamental role in building society and families.
 * Ms. Xûnaf Haco specifically highlighted the federation's past achievements and successes in Germany and informed the members about upcoming projects.
 * Dr. Nafî Birro delivered the closing remarks of this session, emphasizing the importance of mutual relations and collaborative work to support women's rights.
 * Ms. Karîna Wezîrê and Ms. Necla Çamlîbel pointed out the importance of Kurdish women's work in diplomacy, lobbying, and media to raise awareness of the Kurdish cause and women's activities on international platforms. They stated that the federation's work must be enhanced through modern methods and broader strategic visions.
Following the speeches, the floor was opened for questions from the audience, which were answered by the General Executive Board of the Women's Federation.
### Elections and Closing
In the second part of the conference, the Executive Board for the new Germany Committee in Düsseldorf was nominated and officially elected by the members in a democratic atmosphere. The voting results were subsequently announced, and the new board members were introduced.
The conference concluded in an enthusiastic and joyful atmosphere with music, a performance by the singer Ms. Janê, and Kurdish cuisine.
