Statement of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation on the Second Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Zhina Amini and the Women's Revolution

Dear Kurdistanis,Freedom-loving and resilient people of East Kurdistan,

History has recorded that the Kurdish people and nation have endured numerous oppressions and atrocities under the unjust Iranian regime for 45 years.

The consequences of this oppression surfaced following the martyrdom of Zhina Amini, a young Kurdish woman from the beautiful and proud city of Saqiz, sparking widespread protests as people took to the streets.

As the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation, we consider it our duty to support all Kurdish women in the hardworking and heroic east, as well as the revolutionary masses of the Kurdish people. We consistently condemn the violations of sovereignty, human rights abuses, and the repression of freedom fighters.

We also call on representatives of anti-dictatorship nations, and countries that support human rights and democracy, to take action in protecting the lives and security of the Kurdish people.

We honor the memory of martyr Zhina and all the proud martyrs of the Kurdish freedom movement.

With infinite respect

,Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation
