
Participation of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation of Norway
On Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, the Syrian Kurdistan Democratic Party held a successful conference in Shiptvet, Norway.
The Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation of Norway, as a key international organization, was officially invited by the Norwegian branch of the Syrian Kurdistan Democratic Party to attend the event. Darya Khoshnaw, the head of the Federation, participated, along with the head of the Conservative Party in Sarpsborg.
The conference was attended by the Director-General of European Organizations, the Director of the Scandinavian Organization, as well as representatives from various Norwegian political parties and organizations. Each guest and participant, representing their respective party or organization, gave speeches during the conference.
Darya Khoshnaw, in his speech as the head of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation in Norway and the head of the Conservative Party in Sarpsborg, congratulated the Syrian Kurdistan Democratic Party for organizing the conference and wished them success. He spoke on the current challenges in the West and highlighted the importance of Kurdistan's position in the Middle East, stressing the need for international support. He emphasized the significance of Kurdish unity, mutual respect, and tolerance for differing opinions.
In his address, Khoshnaw also shared a poem he had written, titled "Do Not Believe the Enemy," which reflected on the moment the Syrian regime's power collapsed, symbolizing a turning point for both Kurdistan and the West.
In his concluding remarks, Khoshnaw expressed his hopes for lasting peace, security, and stability in West Kurdistan. He wished for the conference’s success and emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between the newly elected committee and other political organizations and parties.
