Launch of the 16-Day Campaign Against Violence and 24th Anniversary of UN Resolution 1325

Today, November 25, 2024, Mrs. Shirin Zaki, Head of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation, participated in the launch of the 16-day national campaign to combat violence against women in the Kurdistan Region, as well as the commemoration of the 24th anniversary of UN Resolution 1325.

The event, organized by the High Council for Women and Development in the Kurdistan Regional Government with support from the United Nations, marked the official beginning of the 16-day campaign to combat violence against women and celebrated the 24th anniversary of UN Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security.
