Kurdistan Flag Day Celebrated in Germany

On December 17, 2024, the Women's Society of Aachen and the Federation of Kurdistan Diaspora Women jointly organized an event in Germany to celebrate Kurdistan Flag Day. The event saw the participation of numerous civil society organizations.

The program featured various segments highlighting the significant role of Kurdish women in advocating for national and individual rights and preserving national holidays.

A key outcome of the event was a joint statement issued by the participating organizations, expressing support for Kurdish women and the Kurdish diaspora. Efforts to implement the objectives outlined in the statement are scheduled to commence in April.

As part of the celebration, a documentary on the history of the Kurdistan flag was screened, offering attendees insight into its origins and significance.

The event concluded with a discussion on Kurdish history and the importance of maintaining national traditions and holidays abroad, covering a range of related topics.
