Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation Spearheads Diplomatic Engagements in Finland

Some activities of today's federation on 10/2/2024

The Executive Committee of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation, comprising Ms. Shirin Zaki and Ms. Shaida Sohrabi, both members of our federation and Deputy Members of the Helsinki City Council, participated in a seminar organized by National Coalition Party's Party, hosted by the Finnish Foreign Minister. In an exclusive interview with Elena Voltoten, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, the achievements of the Kurdistan Region were discussed extensively. She spoke highly about the Kurdistan Region, emphasizing its security and peace. Additionally, Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein at the Davos Conference.

Subsequently, the Executive Committee of the Federation, along with Ms. Shaida Sohrabi, participated in activities. On the final day of the Finnish presidential election campaign, the Executive Committee of the Federation had meetings with both Kristiina Kokko, the Secretary of the National Coalition Party's Party, and Alexander Stubb.
