Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation Representative Engages in Helsinki Seminar on Women's Rights and Peace

On March 4, 2024, Shahen Zad Ahmad, representing the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation, took part in a seminar hosted by the Social Democratic Women in Helsinki. The seminar focused on issues of equality, women's rights, girls' empowerment, and peace.

Among the notable attendees were:

- Tarja Halonen, Former President of Finland

- Sanna Girls Tuppurainen, Member of Parliament, Head of the Social Democratic Parliamentary Group, Head of the Social Democratic Women's Party in Finland, and Member of the Oulu City Council

- Tarja Filatov, Former Deputy Prime Minister of Finland and Member of Parliament in the previous term

- Helena Marttia, Member of Parliament and Deputy Chairperson of the Social Democratic Women's Party in the Helsinki Region
