Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation in Germany Event on the Occasion of the Parliamentary Elections

On Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 15:30, the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation – German Committee held an important event at Rawshan Badrkhan Hall in Bochum, Germany, in honor of the upcoming parliamentary elections.

The event was organized by Mr. Khunaw Hajo, Mr. Yusra, Leylan, Gona, and Mr. Ronahi. Distinguished guests included Mr. Sardar Yüksel, candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) for the German Parliament, Mr. Axel Schäfer, German MP, Ms. Gabi Schäfer, Mayor of Bochum, and Mr. Helmut Britkoff, President of the Kurdistan Region.

Notably, Mr. Sardar Yüksel, a Kurd from North Kurdistan, is running for the German Parliament on the SPD list this year.

The gathering was attended by approximately 60 writers, independent public figures, civil society representatives, and politicians from various parties. The event primarily aimed to encourage support for the Social Democratic Party and other democratic parties.

With the upcoming parliamentary elections in Germany, it is crucial for Kurds living in the country to actively participate by voting and supporting democratic forces. The attendees expressed their commitment to voting with enthusiasm and determination.

The event concluded at 17:00 with a reception featuring food and refreshments for all guests and participants.
