Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation in Austria Discusses Women's Roles and Future Initiatives

On August 15, 2024, the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation in Austria organized a conference attended by Mr. Shirin Zaki, Head of the Federation, Ms. Heva Hussein, a member of the Federation's Board of Directors, and a significant number of activists and women in Austria.

The conference featured a diverse program. Ms. Shirin Zaki began by delivering a speech that outlined the purpose of establishing the Federation and emphasized its importance and necessity to the attendees.

The second part of the conference focused on the role of the Kurdish community in Austria and discussed what Kurdish women in Austria should do to foster their development and progress.

The final part introduced the Federation of Kurdistan Diaspora Women and presented its vision for addressing women's issues in Austria.

The conference concluded successfully, with its recommendations set to become the next agenda for the Federation's work in Austria.
