Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation Establishes Committee in Norway: Promoting Unity and Empowerment
"Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation Forms Its Committee in Norway!
On Saturday, 17/2/2024, at 12:12 pm, in the presence of the Secretary General and President of the Kurdistan Diaspora Confederation, along with a significant number of members and Kurds living in Norway, the Norwegian Committee was officially announced in the first meeting.
Firstly, the members, guests, and participants were welcomed by the head of the committee, and a minute of silence was observed to pay tribute to the souls of the Kurdish martyrs.
According to the agenda, the day's program proceeded as follows:
1. Welcoming the participants and guests, and announcing the inauguration of the committee by the head of the committee, Darya Khoshnaw.
2. Inviting two members of the General Directorate of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation, Shirin Khan and Shahen Khan, to deliver speeches and congratulatory messages.
3. Introduction of the participants.
4. Congratulatory speech by Dr. Nureddin, Secretary General of the Kurdistan Diaspora Confederation, expressing support for the continued cooperation of the Norwegian Women's Federation Committee.
5. Congratulatory speech by Mr. Adnan Mukhtar, President of the Federation of Kurdish Associations in Norway, expressing support and cooperation for the Federation of Women, Norway Committee.
6. Presentation of a congratulatory message and pledge of support from the Norwegian Party SV-Sosialistisk Venstreparti by their representative, Mr. Massoud Nasri.
7. Reading and analyzing the important points of the rules and programs, and introducing the Federation, the Norwegian Committee.
8. Electing the Executive Committee by a majority vote, selecting 5 members as the main members and 2 members as deputies, and then planning for the division of the committee's duties.

9. Receiving proposals for future work programs, projects, and activities.
10. General review and final remarks.
The meeting ended successfully at 16:1.
