Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation Meets with G100

On December 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM, the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation (KDFW) held a meeting with members of the G100 via the Zoom platform. The G100 is an international organization comprising 100 women leaders and talented individuals from around the globe, representing 100 different global wings, each with a distinct vision aligned with G100's overall mission.

Highlights of the Meeting

Darya Qadir Khoshnaw, Head of the Defense and Security Wing in Norway and Head of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation in Norway, attended the G100 General Assembly.

The session was inaugurated by Bodil Valero, a politician, former Member of the European Parliament (MEP), and the global chair of the G100’s Security and Defense Wing. The meeting began with introductions, allowing participants to familiarize themselves with one another.

Key Discussion Points

The meeting focused on several crucial topics, including:

  • The roles and responsibilities of G100 members within their respective countries.

  • The unique challenges faced by different nations.

  • Activities and initiatives aimed at empowering women globally.

To gain a deeper understanding of these challenges, members were asked to complete a detailed questionnaire. This form was designed to identify security concerns in their countries of origin or residence. The identified areas included:

  • Military Security

  • Economic Security

  • Food Security

  • Health Security

  • Environmental Security

  • Personal Security (e.g., physical violence, crime, terrorism, domestic violence, child labor)

  • Community Security

  • Political Security (e.g., political repression, human rights violations)

Goals and Outcomes

The gathered data will be analyzed to:

  • Highlight and address security and development issues.

  • Develop strategies to strengthen human security.

  • Plan collaborative projects aimed at resolving these challenges and promoting peace and stability.

International Participation

The meeting brought together participants from Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Spain, Africa, New Zealand, Switzerland, India, and many other countries. The entire session was conducted in English.

Closing Remarks

The meeting concluded with an emphasis on prioritizing initiatives that serve humanity, with a particular focus on improving the lives of women. The participants reaffirmed their commitment to planning and executing projects that align with these objectives.
