Kurdish Activists Honor Martyr Leila Qasim in Stockholm Commemoration

On May 12, 2024, Ms. Khabat Tarq Mawlud, the Head of the Swedish Committee of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation, along with Ms. Evin Sinjar, a committee member, attended a commemoration event in Stockholm honoring the martyrdom of Leila Qasim. The event, organized by the Kurdish Women's Union in Sweden, saw Kurdish activists Ms. Gula Sharafkandi and Ms. Shahla Dabagh paying tribute to Leila Qasim's enduring legacy in the struggle for Kurdish rights, emphasizing her courage as a revolutionary woman.
