Iranian Revolutionary Guards' Terrorist Attack on Erbil Denounced by Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation

Statement of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation Regarding the Attacks by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards on Erbil, the Capital of the Kurdistan Region

Dear People of Kurdistan,

United Nations and Humanitarian Organizations,

Regrettably, on the night of December 15-16, a terrorist attack involving ballistic missiles and several drones was carried out on the territory of the Kurdistan Region by the Revolutionary Guards of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This reprehensible act resulted in the loss of lives and injuries among civilians, with the targeted areas being the homes of innocent people, leading to casualties and the destruction of their residences.

Such actions are in direct violation of basic human standards and principles of human rights. We, the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation, vehemently condemn this unjust and unwarranted terrorist attack. We urgently call upon the United Nations and the international community to take decisive measures to prevent not only this attack but also similar acts, putting an end to all forms of foreign and domestic terrorist activities.

May the souls of the martyrs rest in peace, and we extend our sincere wishes for a swift recovery to the injured.
