Friendly Meeting of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation with the Organizer and Director of the Kurdish Film Festival in Moscow

On July 7, 2024, the Federation of Kurdistan Diaspora Women, represented by President Shirin Zaki and Executive Committee Member Darya Khoshnaw, who also serves as the Head of the Federation of Kurdistan Diaspora Women in Norway, had a friendly meeting with Ms. Gulizar Karam. Notably, Ms. Gulizar is the daughter of the famous poet and musician Karam Gardan Spi.

The meeting aimed to exchange information and introduce the projects and works of the Federation both within Kurdistan and among the diaspora.

The Kurdish Film Festival in Moscow, successfully held for four years with the participation of the Moscow Ministry of Culture, is currently organizing its fourth event, scheduled to run from September 18 to 22. The festival's goal is to bring Kurdish voices and artistic expressions to the global stage.

The Federation congratulated the festival organizers and expressed their support for the Kurdish Film Festival in Moscow.
