Federation of Kurdistan Diaspora Women Condemns Execution of Kurdish Political Prisoner Pakhshan Azizi

The Federation of Kurdistan Diaspora Women, an independent organization of Kurdish women, strongly condemns the execution of Pakhshan Azizi, a Kurdish political prisoner.

Pakhshan Azizi, a Kurdish journalist and social activist held in Evin prison, has been sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Federation of Kurdistan Diaspora Women condemns these crimes and calls on human rights organizations and the international community to take a clear and effective stand against Iran's inhumane acts and strongly condemn the death penalty.

We also call on the Islamic Republic of Iran to heed the calls of human rights organizations, civil society organizations, and the relatives of Pakhshan Azizi, and to revoke this decision as soon as possible!
