On April 25, 2024, the Executive Board of the Federation of Kurdistan Diaspora Women, represented by Ms. Shirin Zeky, President of the Federation, along with two members, Director Darya Khoshnaw, and Hewa Hussein, convened with Mrs. Fenk Shafiq Hamademin, Director General of the General Directorate for Combating Violence against Women and Family.

The meeting centered around introducing the federation and its mission, with a focus on safeguarding and supporting women and families in accordance with established norms and laws. Discussions also touched upon upcoming projects, activities, and potential collaborations.
