Happy Kurdistan Flag Day! This day celebrates the flag that was first raised in the Kurdistan Republic, in the cherished city of Mahabad.

The Kurdistan flag is one of the nation’s most sacred symbols. Its colors represent sacrifice, development, peace, and coexistence.

For the Kurdish people, the flag serves as the guardian of our national identity, a symbol of sovereignty, and a testament to the resilience of a nation striving for independence and prosperity.

With deep respect, we honor the sacred Kurdistan flag, salute the proud martyrs of Kurdistan who gave their lives to defend our people and homeland, and express our gratitude to the heroic Peshmerga forces who continue to safeguard our national honor and symbols.
