A joint delegation from the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation and the Kurdish Diaspora in the Netherlands visited the High Council of Women and Development. Copy
Ms. Shirin Zaki, President of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation; Ms. Zhian Qadir Surchi, President of the Kurdish Diaspora in the Netherlands; and Ms. Ala Rasul, President of the Kurdish Diaspora Federation in the Netherlands, were warmly welcomed by the Council’s Secretary General.
During the meeting, the delegation highlighted the work and activities of the Federation, which were greatly appreciated by Ms. Khanzad. She especially commended the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation as an international organization that effectively monitored the voting process in Erbil, Sulaimani, Duhok, Halabja, and other provinces, playing a critical role in overseeing the Kurdistan Parliamentary elections.
The discussion also covered topics related to women’s development, coordination, and avenues for collaborative efforts moving forward.
